Feb. 3--NICEVILLE -- Lawmen have arrested a woman linked to a Destin methamphetamine lab fire and are seeking three other suspects.

Aprele Renee Lail, 35, was an operator of the lab that sparked an explosion and fire at the Destin Motel 6 on Dec. 6, according to the Florida State Fire Marshal's Office.

Niceville Police Lt. Dave Popwell said his department received a tip Wednesday night that Lail might be in the area in a gray Dodge pickup truck.

"An officer searched the city and found the vehicle behind the Comfort Inn," Popwell said.

Soon three people got into the truck and the officer made a traffic stop, he said.

After obtaining consent to search the vehicle, the officer reportedly found a mini methamphetamine lab and chemicals for processing the drug.

Popwell said Lail was arrested for charges issued by the fire marshal's office and another person in the truck was arrested on narcotics charges.

Fire marshal's investigators are still searching for 48-year-old Diana Knight Denmon, 38-year-old Todd Bullard and 28-year-old Adrian L. Hormuth, who all are believed to have been involved in the Destin methamphetamine lab fire, according to a news release from the fire marshal's office.

Lail, Denmon, Bullard and Hormuth face charges of drug manufacturing, arson, culpable negligence and failure to control or report a dangerous fire, the release said.

Warrants for their arrest were issued last week.

Investigators say the four started the fire while operating a methamphetamine lab in the motel room. As the fire burned out of control, they allegedly left the motel without alerting guests, motel employees or calling 911.

Hormuth also is being sought by Santa Rosa County Sheriff 's Office after he led lawmen on a high speed chase on U.S. Highway 98 last week.

Anyone with information regarding Hormuth, Denmon or Bullard's whereabouts is asked to call 1-877-NOARSON.
