(KSL News) -- It could soon cost dog owners a pretty penny if they break the rules at a popular pooch park.
Last night the Taylorsville Council proposed hefty fines up to one-thousand dollars for dog owners who fail to pick up their pup's poop.
The fines are the result of several complaints from residents since the off-lease area in Millrace Park opened in the spring of 2004.
