(KSL News) The Cache County sheriff says his force isn't big enough to keep up with the crime rate.

Calls for help, which include reports of burglary and abuse, are up 27 percent so far this year.

Sheriff's office officials have asked the City Council for at least two new hires. However, one councilman says they may just be trying to respond to too many calls.
