(KSL News) -- A fire causes thousands of dollars in damage to a East Millcreek home.
Fire officials say no one was in the home, located near 2500 East 3600 South, when something started burning in the kitchen.
Neighbors noticed smoke pouring from the back of the house and called for help.
Investigators say the fire appears to be an accident.
The blaze caused about 50- thousand dollars damage.
