(KSL News) -- A family from Heber has filed a lawsuit against a New Mexico rafting company and its river guide.
The family says the Santa Fe Rafting Company was negligent and caused their mother's death. Last June, the commercial raft capsized in northern New Mexico on the Rio Grande.
An autopsy found Carole Whalden suffered a blunt force trauma to the head. The family says Carole Walden had asked for a helmet and wet suit, but did not receive either.
