WEST VALLEY CITY -- West Valley City police are looking for two men who fired shots outside the Valley Fair Mall Wednesday night.
Sgt. Blair Barfuss with the West Valley City Police Department said police received a report of shots fired around 8:40 p.m.
Officers responded and learned two men in a silver Honda Accord got into a verbal confrontation with two men who were on foot, headed into the mall. Someone in the car fired several shots at the two men, but missed.
Police recovered a spent shell casing in the parking lot and were able to talk with one of the intended targets, who is not cooperating with the investigation.
Police are looking for the other intended victim and the two people in the car.
