(KSL News) -- Tooele Police have arrested a substitute high school teacher on sex charges.

They say 29 year old Cameo Patch had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old Tooele High School male student.

Patch had taught at Tooele for the past year.

Substitute Teacher Arrested on Sex Charge

Police say she and the student exchanged phone numbers off-campus, and then met somewhere in the city where the crime took place.

Chief Ron Kirby, Tooele Police Dept.: "The unlawful contact only happened that night between that substitute and that student, and did not involve any other students that we know of"

Police charged Patch with unlawful sexual contact and lewdness.
