Intermountain Harley-Davidson, Burt Brothers Tires, and Utah's Doug Wright bring you the 1st annual 'Light Up Eureka' ride. This ride was personally organized by KSL's Doug Wright. Doug is the official voice of Utah, and now Doug invites you to hear the past and present voices of Eureka on Utah's largest motorcycle event in April. What better way to kick off the official start of the riding season than to traverse the vast lands and infinite beauty of western Utah?
A short 70 miles southwest of Salt Lake City, the town of Eureka has some of the most historic sights to visit in the entire Beehive state. If you've ever been to Eureka you know the quaint charm and yesteryear feel when you enter this once bustling metropolis. If you've never been to Eureka this is your chance to discover what chapter Eureka wrote in the great history of Utah. There are several historical monuments which still tell tales of Utah's wild west reputation and prosperous mining history. On Saturday April 16th the entire town of Eureka will be anxiously awaiting the arrival of the 'Light Up Eureka' ride. Good old fashioned food and fun awaits every rider who saddles up and roars in Eureka on Saturday April 16th. Some notable attractions in Eureka include
1. One of Utah's oldest saloons 2. The original cabin of famed Mormon pioneer, Porter Rockwell 3. St. Patrick's, Utah's oldest Catholic church 4. Utah's historic Tintic mining district
You can explore these sites first hand during the Poker Run on the Eureka Ride on Saturday April 16th. Get your first poker card at Harley-Davidson of Salt Lake City on April 16th from 9A-11A. Then head out on your bike for an amazing intrastate adventure to the historic town of Eureka, Utah. Once in Eureka you can dismount your bike and easily walk through time at these additional 4 poker stops:
