(KSL News) BYU fans can breathe easy this morning. The Cougar fight song will not be sold to anyone.
Late last night the family of Clyde Sandgren, who copyrighted the song in 1947, sent KSL a fax saying, after further consideration, they have decided it's not in the best interest of anyone to sell the rights to the song.
It's a song they thought BYU or someone else would be willing to buy for millions.
