HOLLADAY -- Police have released photos of a woman they are looking for who stole a vehicle outside a Holladay laundromat Sunday.
According to Justin Hoyal with the Unified Police Department, the owner of the 2005 Dodge Neon was inside the laundromat at 4205 South Highland Dr. around 4 p.m. with her 12-year-old son. Shortly after 4 p.m., she sent the boy out to get his 18-year-old brother -- who was sitting in the driver's seat of the car -- for help.
The 12-year-old sent his brother inside and was sitting alone in the car when a woman entered, Hoyal said.
The woman apparently told the boy, "I need a quarter ounce. I need the car so I can get a quarter ounce."
The boy got out of the car and the woman took off, Hoyal said.
The suspect is described as being in her early- to mid-30s with dirty blonde hair in a ponytail, wearing black pajamas or sweats. The Neon has a damaged driver's side with a Utah license plate number B048HP, Hoyal said.
