(KSL News) Road work kicked up this weekend.
Early this morning construction crews in Parley's Canyon put up a new bridge over Interstate 215.
The 280-foot-long bridge connects the Bonneville Shoreline Trail to the Jordan River Parkway, making an eight-mile-long trail.
The idea behind the bridge is to give bicyclists and pedestrians more options to enjoy the outdoors.
