PARK CITY -- Thieves stole expensive "swag bags" meant for celebrities at the Sundance Film Festival.

Companies hand out expensive items to make a good impression and possibly get endorsements for their products.

On the opening weekend of the film festival, a company rented a hotel ballroom for an expo. Police say that company left 10 gift bags in the ballroom and did not lock the doors. Now the bags are gone.

Together, the bags are worth $14,000. They were filled with sunglasses, shampoo, spa and skin treatments.
