A federal lawsuit has been actioned by confectionery manufacturer Hershey Co over a picture of a chocolate Hershey's Kiss on the cover of a new book about the company's founder by Michael D'Antonio, which is scheduled to launch in January.
According to The Associated Press, the company is seeking an injunction to stop publisher Simon & Schuster Inc from using Hershey-owned images to market the book, which is entitled Hershey: Milton S. Hershey's Extraordinary Life of Wealth, Empire and Utopian Dreams.
Hershey reportedly does not object to the book's content but is concerned that the image used on the dust jacket may imply that the company endorses the book, reported The Associated Press.
