(KSL News) -- It seems even police officers are not immune to having their cars stolen.

Sometime last night, a thief took off in a Salt Lake patrol car. Several hours later, the vehicle turned up in Sandy -- with a broken window.
The officer who drives that car had left several personal belongings inside -- including some guns. But the only thing the thief took was a digital camera.
