SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Governor Jon Huntsman and other Western governors are urging the U.S. Senate to pass immigration reform.

The Western governor's Association sent Senate Majority Leader harry Reid a letter last week urging the Senate to pass comprehensive immigration reform as soon as possible.

The letter was also sent to several U.S. House and Senate leaders.

The Senate has voted to continue debate over the most recent immigration reform proposal.
