WEST POINT, Davis County — A man is dead after a shooting on Saturday.
At 6:25 p.m., the Davis County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of shots fired in West Point, Davis County. Upon arriving, police discovered a man dead at the scene. No suspects have been identified, according to Davis County sheriff's spokeswoman Megan Maybee.
Police have, however, identified a vehicle of interest believed to have been involved in the shooting — a maroon sedan with an orange-colored rear-plate cover. The vehicle was last seen driving northbound on 2000 West and turning east onto 300 North, Maybee said.
If anyone has information on or sees the sedan, they should not approach the vehicle and are asked to call the Davis County Sheriff's Office at (801) 451-4100.
