WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Orem is one of the safest cities in America.
That's according to the Annual Safety Rankings of Washington D.C.-based CQ Press.
The agency listed Orem as the having the 8th lowest crime rate among cities its size and 11th for all cities with populations between 75,000 and 90,000.
The rankings also list the Provo-Orem metropolitan area as having the 4th lowest crime rate among all metropolitan areas in the nation.
Colonie, N.Y., is ranked as the overall safest city in America, followed by O'Fallon, MO., and Ramapo, N.Y.
The three most dangerous cities according to the report are St. Louis, MO., followed by Camden, N.J. and Detroit, MI.
