LOGAN, Utah (AP) -- Pooh Williams shot 4-of-6 from behind the 3-point line and scored 18 points to lead Utah State past Western Michigan 78-57 Wednesday night in the second day of the World Vision Invitational.

Brockeith Pane added 14 points for the Aggies (10-2), Tai Wesley 13 and Tyler Newbold 12.

The Broncos (5-6) were led by Nate Hutcheson with 12 points and six rebounds. Matt Stainbrook added 10 points.

Utah State used a 9-4 run to start the second half to go ahead 43-34. After trading baskets, reserve Brady Jardine scored on a dunk and Brian Green dropped a 3-pointer to push the Aggies' lead to 64-49 with 7:30 to play.

Western Michigan's top scorer, Flenard Whitfield, was held to nine points and fouled out with nine minutes to play. There were 47 personal fouls, 30 in the second half. Utah State shot 33 free throws to 14 for the Broncos.
