Top ESPN crew assigned to Las Vegas Bowl

LAS VEGAS - ESPN is sending some heavy hitters to town to handle the television announcing for the 2010 MAACO Bowl Las Vegas on Dec. 22.

Legendary mic man Brent Musburger will do play-by-play and ESPN College Gameday star Kirk Herbstreit will serve as analyst. Respected reporter Tom Rinaldi will handle the sideline duties. That same trio will also work the Tostitos BCS National Championship Game between Auburn and Oregon on Jan. 10.

The MAACO Bowl Las Vegas, which is owned and operated by ESPN Regional Television (ERT), will be televised nationally on ESPN HD. BCS No. 10 Boise State will be taking on BCS No. 20 Utah in the 19th edition of the game at Sam Boyd Stadium beginning at 5 p.m. PT.

A limited number of tickets are still on sale now and this year include complimentary transportation from the two host hotels to and from Sam Boyd Stadium.
