(KSL News) On this hottest day of the year, Rocky Mountain Power knocked out power today to thousands of people in the South Jordan area. But, the outage didn't last as long as expected.
Crews say electricity went out about 7:30 this morning and returned by 11:00 a.m. Residents had anticipated the power being out until 5:00 p.m.
Rocky Mountain Power says maintenance work on an electric substation was done. It should cut down on future power problems.
