(KSL News) The owner of a South Jordan restaurant and her daughter are accused of setting their own business on fire.
Patricia and Claudia Castillo have been charged with aggravated arson and insurance fraud.
Fire crews responded to the Carolina Restaurant just after midnight September 25. An arson dog detected an accelerant and eventually the women admitted they burned their restaurant to force the property management and building owner to make "much needed repairs."
