MURRAY -- Murray police are trying to find an endangered man.

The family of 38-year-old Lance Leavitt says he walked away from his parents' Salt Lake home Thursday afternoon near 3500 Crestwood Drive and hasn't been seen since.

They say Leavitt has epilepsy and hasn't taken his medication since he disappeared. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, a green fleece jacket, brown pants and a tan backpack.

Police have classified Leavitt as an endangered person because of his medical condition and the bad weather.

He may also be suicidal.

Anyone with information is asked to call Murray police at 801-840-4000.
