Juan Diego's game winning field goal capped off an 18 play 90 yard drive that took 7:10 off the clock. It was a masterful job of clock management by the Soaring Eagle coaching staff. I can't believe Juan Diego did it again. For the third straight year, they defeat Hurricane for the 3A state championship on the final play of the game. Skylar Doran kicked a 20 yard field goal as time expired to give the Soaring Eagle the victory. It was very similar to the way they won the 2008 state championship. Jaron Bentrude kicked a 23-yard field goal with 3 seconds left in that title game to give them a 21-18 victory. You can watch that game winner at this link: http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=504&sid=4856652

If you are a Juan Diego fan and you want to relive last year's Hail Mary game-winner you can watch that at this link: http://www.ksl.com/?sid=8740304&nid=504

This game has a chance to be another nail biter between these two schools.
