SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (AP) -- Will Clyburn scored 21 points and Josh Watkins added 20 to lead Utah to an 80-71 victory over Montana on Wednesday night.
Jay Watkins scored 18 points and Jason Washburn had 10 for the Utes (2-0).
Will Cherry led the Grizzlies (0-2) with 21 points, Kareem Jamar had 14 points and nine rebounds and Derek Selvig also scored 14.
Utah built a 41-30 lead at halftime, and a three-point play by Watkins gave the Utes a 57-37 advantage with 14:02 to play. Montana twice cut the margin to six after that but failed to get any c loser. Utah has now won 12 consecutive games against Montana. This was the first meeting since Dec. 26, 1969.
