(KSL News) -- One person has drowned in a river rafting accident.
A source tells Eyewitness News 15 people were rafting together on the Green River, near Jack Creek in Desolation Canyon, when their raft wrapped around a rock.
One person fell out of the raft and drowned.
A commercial rafting run found the stranded raft and someone used a satellite phone to call for help.
Three people asked to be flown out of the canyon. Our source tells us, the rest of the group kept traveling down the river.
