(KSL News) Utah is bringing in even more money from a huge, multi-state settlement with tobacco companies.
In a deal struck years ago, two major tobacco producers agreed to settle a huge lawsuit filed by several states.
Utah's portion of that multi-billion dollar settlement has already brought in $27 million to the state. Another $210,000 came this week to settle a payment dispute.
Over the course of the payments, Utah is expected to receive more than a billion dollars.
