WEST WENDOVER -- A second person involved in a fatal West Wendover crash has died.

2nd person dies following Wendover crash

Charlene Lloyd, 38, was seriously injured when the car her future father-in-law was driving slammed into a wall while exiting Interstate 80 Friday evening. Lloyd was taken to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries just after 1 a.m. Saturday.

Lloyd was riding in the backseat of the vehicle with her fiance, 34-year-old Cameron VanAlfen, when the accident happened.

VanAlfen's father was killed in the crash. His mother and he were both seriously injured.

Investigators are working to determine the exact cause of the accident.

Neither Lloyd nor VanAlfen were wearing seat belts.
