(KSL News) Starting today, a federal food program will feed Utah kids from low-income families.
The Summer Food Program is designed to replace the free meals kids receive at school during the rest of the year. Children ages 18 and younger in 17 Utah counties will have access to the meals.
City and school district officials will offer the meals in city parks, community centers and schools throughout the summer.
