SALT LAKE CITY -- A person paddling down the Jordan River Saturday afternoon made a gruesome discovery: a man's body stuck under a bridge.

The body was found in the area of 1100 West and Indiana Avenue around noon. Police have identified the man as 32-year-old Michael Andrus.

Salt Lake City police say Andrus' body will be sent to the state medical examiner's office to determine a cause of death.
