CEDAR CITY -- Police in Cedar City arrested a man and woman accused of 11 business burglaries since early September.

Dwayne Lewis Rouse, 21, was booked into the Iron County Jail on 38 theft and burglary related charges. Kristine Gabrielle Verdugo, 21, was booked into jail on 27 theft and burglary related charges.

The two are accused of stealing over $23,000 worth of goods including Off-Highway Vehicles (OHV), computers, office equipment, tools, and other electronics.

Officers got a break in the case Wednesday when one of the burglary victims recognized someone driving his 4-wheeler, stolen a few nights earlier, and called police. The following morning police received a tip of OHV's in the 1200 North block of North Cedar Blvd. and found Rouse and Verdugo, the stolen OHV's and most of the other stolen items.

If found guilty, Rouse and Verdugo could spend one to 15 years in prison.
