(KSL News) Investigators now know what started a four alarm fire at a laundry detergent factory in Salt Lake City.

The fire ripped through the building at 1900 S. 3600 West yesterday. The damage is at least three million dollars.

Authorities say a press inside the building malfunctioned, and sparked the blaze.

Investigators say the fire stayed trapped in a small area thanks to the building's construction. Fire doors were closed to keep the fire contained, giving firefighters time to set up before going in.

More than 150 employees evacuated but there weren't any serious injuries.
