OGDEN -- Police in Ogden say a standoff involving an armed woman at an apartment complex ended peacefully Friday night.

Officers say a call about a domestic dispute came in around 8:30 p.m. When officers arrived at the Mountain Ridge Apartments near 800 Monroe Blvd. they found the woman and her boyfriend fighting in the front yard.

The woman had a gun in her hand and loaded it in front of officers then ran into the house. Her boyfriend told police the two had been drinking.

SWAT teams surrounded the home, and the woman refused to talk to them. Around 11:20 p.m., SWAT teams entered the home and took the woman into custody without incident.

She was booked into the Weber County Jail on multiple offenses, including aggravated assault on a police officer.

Police set up roadblocks in the area during the incident. Only the apartment above the woman's unit was evacuated.
