SANDY -- Sandy police hope surveillance pictures will help them find the man who robbed a credit union at gunpoint.
Police say the robber walked into the Credit Union Service Center at 57 W. 10600 South in Sandy just after 4 p.m. Thursday and threatened employees with a semi-automatic handgun. He got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
The images show a man in his 30s or 40s who is about 5 feet 9 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a blue windbreaker with a light-colored stripe on it, dark pants, a wig, baseball hat, bandanna and sunglasses.
Anyone with information on who the robber might be is asked to call Sandy police at 801-840-4000.
