MIDVALE -- A multi-car wreck slowed traffic on I-15 in Midvale Thursday night and resulted in minor injuries.
The Utah Highway Patrol says it happened around 8:15 p.m. when the driver of a pickup slowed for traffic near 7500 South. The truck was rear-ended by the car behind it.
The driver of a car behind them lost control. That vehicle spun around a few times and ended up facing the wrong way.
UHP Sgt. Terry Woodward explained, "After that, we had a truck and SUV collide, sending the SUV sideways, which collided with a van, and the SUV rolled onto its side. The van then made contact with another SUV that had stopped for the car that had spun out."
Sgt. Woodward says seven people, including two infants in car seats, received minor injuries -- mostly cuts and bruises.
