SOUTH SALT LAKE -- Detectives with the Metro Gang Unit arrested a man they say rented a car on a fraudulent credit card.
Officers spotted the rental car, which had been reported stolen, around 12:30 a.m. at 50 E. 3525 South. They pulled it over and found three people inside. Officers say they also found methamphetamines and several stolen items in the car.
Police booked 36-year-old Albert Moye into the Salt Lake County Jail on forgery and stolen vehicle charges.
