SPANISH FORK -- A tribute to the nation's veterans who served in the Vietnam War has arrived in Utah.
The Moving Wall is a half-size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial that has toured the country for more than 20 years. Thursday, it opened to the public in Spanish Fork, after a lot of hard work by residents to bring it there.
"There's not one member of my generation that's not marked by the Vietnam War, whether we went or not," said Lana Creer-Harris. "We felt it was time. The nation has learned how to maybe not like the war, but respect and love the warrior, and these guys didn't get that."
The Moving Wall will be on display 24 hours a day at the Spanish Fork Cemetery (420 S. 400 East) until Sept. 13.
