(KSL News) -- Utah Highway patrol arrested a Clearfield man who nearly hit a trooper working at the scene of a deadly wreck.
An accident killed two drivers in Weber county yesterday after a semi hit a car. Police say while they were investigating, a man on a bullet bike was weaving through the traffic tied up on I-15, going as fast as 90 to 100 miles an hour.
One trooper even stood in the emergency lane trying to get him to stop, but he didn't. The trooper was not injured.
After quite a chase the bike eventually crashed as it was boxed in by a semi. Hector Diaz was booked in the Weber County jail for aggravated assault on a police officer and felony evading.
