OREM, Utah (KSL News Services) – You can get just about anything at a drive through these days, including your yearly flu shot.
Jacque Brown with Timpanogos Regional Hospital in Orem says it's essential that high risk individuals get a flu shot before the flu season hits. In order to facilitate that goal, the hospital has turned the front canopy of the hospital into a drive-thru flu shot clinic. She says the hospital has enough flu vaccine to serve the public.
Brown says the procedure only takes a couple of minutes to complete. The service includes your flu shot, a glass of orange juice, and they also clean your windshield. The last day the drive-thru flu shot clinic will be open is Thursday. The orange juice only comes in one size, no supersizing.
