WEST HAVEN, Weber County — A large bar fight left a man clinging to life early Sunday.

The Weber County Sheriff's Office and the Weber/Morgan Homicide Task Force are investigating a fight that broke out about 1:30 a.m. at the Outlaw Saloon, 1254 W. 2100 South.

Sheriff's deputies and other law enforcement agencies stepped in between two separate groups who were fighting at the honky-tonk dance hall. The victim was taken to an area hospital in "very critical condition," according to a sheriff's office news release.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about what happened before or during the fight to call the Weber County Sheriff's Office at 801-778-6631 or Weber County dispatch at 801-629-8221.
