SALT LAKE CITY -- Kids with paintbrushes in hand swarmed a Salt Lake City business Friday, all in the name of beautification.
It may not look like it now, but the external wall of the Salt Lake Running Company store at 2454 S. 700 East will soon be a mural.
The Salt Lake Running Company invited kids from the neighborhood near 700 East and Interstate 80 to prep the wall. More than 30 volunteers living in the area have been giving their time to help make the entrance to their community a great one.
Saturday, seven professional artists will create their own masterpiece on top of the children's mural.
