SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A federal grand jury indicted the man being held responsible for the rollover of a van carrying 16 undocumented immigrants.
Two women from Guatemala were killed by the Oct. 11th crash along a remote stretch of Route 191 south of Moab.
Now 25-year-old Ramses Castellano-Lin is being held responsible. He was charged with -- quote -- "transporting illegal aliens resulting in death."
Authorities say Castellano-Lin WASN'T the driver -- he had turned the wheel over to a younger driver.
But prosecutors are holding him responsible, saying he was the original driver who picked up passengers for a trip from Phoenix to Denver.
The grand jury handed up the indictment yesterday. The 17-year-old driver faces possible charges, too.
