SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The pilot of a single-seat glider was killed Saturday afternoon when the small aircraft crashed into a Morgan County mountain.
The man has been identified as 55-year-old Warren Evans of South Ogden.
Lee said friends who were flying in a two-seat glider with the one that crashed lost sight of it, then later saw the wreckage in trees in the Mahogany Canyon area.
He said Evans was killed on impact and sheriffs employees later recovered the glider and the remains.
