(KSL News) We have an update this morning on the team of Super Sherpas.

Apa Sherpa and Lhakpa Gelu left base camp this week, and have started the long and grueling trek for the summit of Mount Everest.

As we told you a few weeks ago, Apa has climbed Everest more times than any other person. Lhakpa has climbed it the fastest.

Both moved to Utah to provide better lives for their families. But they went back to Nepal at the end of March to scale Everest as part of an historic all-Sherpa climb.
