Randall Jeppesen, KSL NewsradioUtah Valley State College is kicking off a program asking its employees to ride to work for a month. With gas prices they way they are, the school might get a lot of participation.
UVSC employees sign up to ride their bikes as much as they can all month long. The program is supposed to make people healthier by biking to work. It may also save the riders a lot in gas money.
Event organizer Jillana Ahloe isn't using gas prices to get more people the join, but that seems to be what most people are thinking about.
