PROVO -- A battle of sorts took place at BYU Friday, as nearly 4,000 students walloped each other with thousands of water balloons.
"I just got owned!" said student Stephanie Rhodes. "They were coming from everywhere!"
The massive water balloon fight wasn't just for fun, it had a purpose: to break the world record. And the students just barely did it, with 3,927 people and 120,000 balloons.
The previous record was set by the University of Kentucky, with 25 less people and 1,000 less balloons.
By the way, it took the students three days to fill up all those balloons and only six minutes to destroy them.
