Jewelry Thieves Get Very Little Merchandise

The owner of Diamond Designs puts away his merchandise at night and, thanks to his safe practice, thieves didn't have anything to steal.

Allan Baird, Diamond Designs Owner: "It isn't a financial thing, it's just a pain in the butt. Because you come here at 3:00 in the morning, you gotta clean up the glass, you gotta go through the hassle of everything else. And there's nothing, they didn't get anything."

Baird also says it's frustrating, but he understands the obvious risks in being a jewler. He says all he had to do was clean up some broken glass, turn off the alarm and report the incident to the police.
