SANDY -- Utah's concert event of the summer, Paul McCartney's Up and Coming show, went onstage Tuesday night at Rio Tinto Stadium.
The concert was the hottest ticket in town and drew fans of all ages.
"We're going to Paul McCartney. Why? Because he's Paul McCartney," one fan said.
"It was our father's idea," another fan said. "He's been a longtime Beatles fan."
A third fan added, "We know he's 67, so he'll probably end early, so that works for us."
McCartney gear was selling briskly, though concert T-shirts cost $60 each.
