CACHE COUNTY -- Rescuers freed a man who got caught in the propeller of a boat while tubing at Hyrum Reservoir Sunday.

Jeremy Shaw with the parks department says the 30-year-old was tubing behind a boat around 5 p.m.

When the driver of the boat swung around to pick him up, the man's pants got caught in the propeller and sucked in.

It took rescuers 30 minutes to free the man. Shaw says he was taken to Logan Regional Hospital with leg injuries.
