(KSL News) Ogden City Police Officer Ken Hammond honored for his work during the Trolley Square shooting.
Officer Hammond received the Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Award.
You'll remember that Hammond was on a date with his wife at Trolley Square when he heard the shooting. He was off duty at the time, but he still found and engaged the shooter and helped responding Salt Lake City officers take him down.
Those Salt Lake officers were also recognized.
