SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The Utah Jazz have selected Western Kentucky forward Jeremy Evans in the second round of the NBA draft.
The Jazz had the 55th overall pick and went with another tall but slim player. Evans is listed at 6-foot-9, 197 pounds. That's one inch taller and a few pounds lighter than Gordon Hayward. Utah took the 6-8, 207-pound Hayward with the ninth overall pick.
Evans played all four years at Western Kentucky and is the school's all-time leader in field goal percentage at 63.9 percent. His 224 career blocks are also a school record.
